THE RED AND BLACK ARE BACK
Loudoun United FC enter Saturday’s contest in 8th place in the USL-C Eastern Conference. They make their second trip to Championship Stadium this month, after a 2-1 Open Cup victory over OCSC on May 7. Since this match however, they’ve gone on a bit of a slide, losing three of their next four matches, including a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of LAFC on Tuesday. Their lone victory came in a 3-0 defeat of Monterey Bay FC at Segra Field last Saturday, behind goals from forward Riley Bidois, midfielder Kalil ElMedkhar and a Monterey Bay OG. Forward Zach Ryan leads the Leesburg side with three goals in USL-C play.

IN NEED OF A GOAL PARTY
Orange County SC dropped a 2-1 decision on the road to Oakland Roots SC last Saturday, conceding the match winner with nearly the final kick of the match. After a hot start to the season, OCSC has gone winless in the month of May and has only scored two goals (0-3-0 across all competitions). They will once again turn to their leading goal scorer, forward Thomas Amang, to get on the scoreboard, but they’ll need to find goals from more than one source. Eight different players have scored for the Black and Orange this season, but only two have multiple on the year (Amang, Iloski). Forward Christian Sorto has been an attacking threat in OCSC’s latest matches, and could be primed for his first goal in Black and Orange on Saturday, against one of his former clubs.
